Are you going to 3DExperience World, formerly known as Solidworks World? Solidworks aficionados will want to kickoff their conference with the CAD Monkey Dinner. Started in 2012 by a handful of Solidworks gurus, the CAD Monkey gathering has traditionally been scheduled on the night before the conference commencement. Dan Herzberg, head of the Boston Area Solidworks User Group has tapped into his network of Solidworks User Group (SWUG) friends to keep the party going. It’s a night when Solidworks super-users and thought-leaders from throughout the country meet and mingle at a host-city hot spot.
As a returning sponsor, John Galt will once again be on hand to greet attendees and help host the dinner at the Rock Bottom Restaurant & Brewery in Nashville, Tennessee. Located in the heart of Music City’s downtown at the corner of Broadway and 2nd Ave, our private penthouse restaurant and bar area will provide an all-night buffet and a huge selection of microbrews, as well as a brewery tour. You can also step outside onto the heated rooftop patio and beer garden to take in the scene overlooking Broadway’s neon lights and honky-tonk hopping crowds.
So unpack your bags and come celebrate the kickoff of the inaugural 3DExperience World with fellow attendees. You’ll reunite with old friends, make new ones, eat too much, talk a little Solidworks shop, speculate about the convention ahead, but mostly… you’ll be starting off the convention in casual Music City style!
If you’re coming to 3DExperience World, the fun starts at the CAD Monkey Dinner on Saturday night, February 8th. Get your admission tickets today!
